For more than 10 years I was involved in EPSRC funded research projects designing computer-based systems to support people living with dementia. Our team comprised expertise from the Design School, DJCAD, University of Dundee; Psychology at the University of St Andrews and the School of Computing, University of Dundee.

This ITN report highlighted early prototype designs of our team's reminiscence system 'CIRCA'(Computer Interactive Reminiscence and Conversation Aid).

The images below show final iterations of the interface design. We launched CIRCA as product alongside our dementia games system LIM (Living in the Moment) in 2010. Our work directly influenced the BBC's on-line reminiscence system RemArc, which our team advised on.
